Shunned At A Funeral - Twirl

There in the heather you spin
Out your laughter
Feeding the clover and grace
Chasing after.
The wind in your hair like a banner unfurled
My bright little dancer
My whole little world.
And watching you twirl in the wide and singing
Open light.
I wonder what shadows will fall with the night
What storms will rise, what fears may swirl.
But still you twirl, my little girl
Though the world turns wild and wide
Your shepherd walks before your stride
So twirl, twirl my little girl
Let your laughter light this world.
The
Lord who paints the skies in pearl
Holds every step you take.
So twirl, twirl my little girl.
In his hands your future curls
For every storm the winds unfurl.
He keeps you for his sake
Someday your footsteps will wander down the valleys
Someday your courage will stand where the gale is.
Someday the world may demand you to bow
But child, your savior is holding you now
And though
I may worry the dark might swirl
I know who fashioned my brave little girl.
No fear can claim what grace makes and singing whole.
His hand will guard your twirling soul
Let the nation shake and singing and roar
Your father walks ahead and singing once more
So twirl, twirl my little girl.
Let your laughter light this world.
The
Lord who paints the skies in pearl holds every step you take.
So twirl, twirl my little girl in
His hands your future curls.
For every storm the winds unfurl, He keeps you for
His sake
When the night is long
When the road grows steep
When the tears you sow are the ones you keep
Child, remember the one who sees
He gathers your sorrows and music like fields of seeds.
And
He who holds the sparrows in flight will carry your spirit through darkest night
No evil wins where
His banners whirl.
Dance on, dance on, my little girl
So twirl, twirl my little girl
Let your laughter light this world.
The
Lord who paints the skies in pearl holds every step you take.
So twirl, twirl my little girl.
In
His hands your future curls.
For every storm the winds unfurl, He keeps you for
His sake
Hey oh
Hey oh
